On February 13th, 2025, Rainbow Bridge Academy proudly hosted a festive Lunar New Year celebration to welcome 2026 - the Year of the Horse! Families and students gathered together to share in the joy of this meaningful tradition. 🎈
The highlight of the event was a series of heartfelt student performances. Students confidently sang the Chinese song "Chengyu Bai Xin Nian" (成语拜新年), bringing vibrant energy and festive spirit to the room. They then came together to recite the classic Song Dynasty poem "Yuan Ri" (元日), offering timeless New Year wishes through the beauty of classical Chinese verse.
Beyond the performances, students also showcased their creativity through handmade New Year crafts, including Fu character decorations (福字), lanterns, and paper cuttings. Each piece reflected the students' thoughtfulness and sincere wishes for the New Year.
We were delighted to have families join us throughout the event, accompanying their children in celebrating this warm and meaningful occasion. Together, everyone experienced the beauty and warmth of Chinese cultural traditions.
Wishing all families a wonderful Year of the Horse filled with health, happiness, and great success! 🎈🐴
